சுதுமலை அம்பாள் அறக்கட்டளையினூடாக Dr. ரவீந்திரன் UK அவர்களின் பிறந்தநாள் August 23 அன்று அவருடைய நிதியுதவியில் 50 குடும்பங்களுக்கு சுதுமலை வடக்கு தெற்கு உலர்உணவுப் பொருட்கள் சுதுமலை அம்மன் ஆலய முன்றலில் வழங்கி வைக்கப்பட்டது. பிறந்த நாளை முன்னிட்டு ஆடம்பர செலவுகள் செய்பவர்கள் மத்தியில் மக்களின் தேவையறிந்து தர்மகாரியங்களை செய்த Dr. ரவீந்திரன் அவர்களுக்கும் அவர் குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் அம்பாளின் ஆசிகள் கிடைக்க வேண்டுவதோடு நன்றிகளையும் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கின்றோம்.

Today, August 23rd, Dr. Raveendran in UK helped 50 needy families with dry food parcels each worth Rs 2,000 through the Suthumalai Amman Arakattalai by simply celebrating his birthday with his family instead of spending more while our own less fortunate people are struggling for their survival during the economic crisis in our motherland. While we wish him a happy birthday today, we pray Almighty God to bless him with many more returns of this day. In fact, Dr. Raveendran and Mr. Anpalagan, president of Manipay Hindu College OBA in UK helped 120 needy families in Navaly, Manipay and Suthumalai areas 2 months ago by initiating the Manipay Hindu Aathmeega Arakattalai in the name of the Kalluri Thaai of Manipay Hindu College by collaborating with the Suthumalai Amman Arakattalai.
On this day, a goat and a baby goat were donated to another needy family to help them with their livelihood using donation from Dr. Nalayini Sivaraman in USA who also helped a needy mother in Suthumalai who was struggling to provide to her special needs daughter and protect her in her house that didn't have any doors or windows. We thank them for their continuing support and pray Almighty God to bless them and their loved ones and everyone who helped to make this noble project possible.

Dear All, today 14 Aug 2022, the trustees of Suthumalai Amman and Manipay Hindu Aathmeega Arakattalais helped to initiate the services of Manipay Vinayagar Aathmeega Arakattalai by helping 100 needy families with dry food parcels each worth Rs 2,000 and 2 needy families with their livelihood by donating 2 chicken cages with 10 grown chicken and chicken food for 1 month (worth Rs 40,000 each). While thanking God and everyone who helped those needy families, we pray God to bless these donors who contributed towards this noble effort:

and Mr. P. Easwaran from Australia Rs 123,000 (my classmate at Jaffna Hindu College bet 1976-1980, and a repeat donor of Arakattalai projects).
I wish to mention that a goat will be donated to another needy family on August 23rd when the trustees of Suthumalai Amman Arakattalai help another 50 needy families with dry food parcels using donations from Dr. Raveendran in UK on his birthday. I am amazed about the Mighty work of Suthumalai Amman having 3 Indian friends joining hands with us in helping our needy families at this temple where our boys surrendered their weapons to the IPKF in 1987.

On March 18, 2022, 3 chicken cages with grown chicken were given to 3 needy families in Suthumalai through the Suthumalai Amman Arakattalai to help with their livelihood. The sponsor of the event Mr. Gnana Chinniah in USA donated them as a tribute to his beloved mother late Mrs. Kanmaniamma Gnanachandramoorthy and her 2 younger brothers late Mr. Kanagasabai Seevaratnam and late Mr. Kanagasabai Ariaratnam who left this world between September 2021 and December 2021 during the peak of Covid 19 in our motherland. In case you don't know, Suthumalai Amman temple is a very historic place where our militants surrendered their weapons to IPKF in 1987. May God bless All.
